Hi, Readers. I hope you all are doing well. My story unfolds not just with passion but with deep, heartfelt emotions. Get ready for a journey of rediscovered love and the complexities of relationships. Every touch and glance tells a story of lingering affection and untold feelings.

Kavya moved around her bedroom with a sense of purpose, packing her bag for the trip to Sakshi’s wedding. The event was in another city. Her husband Varun couldn’t join her due to work commitments. She was travelling alone.

She methodically checked her list, ensuring she had everything: her elegant red gown, accessories, and essentials. As she zipped up her suitcase, she glanced at the gown hanging in her closet. The rich crimson fabric was adorned with intricate gold embroidery, perfect for the occasion.

The gown’s design, which highlighted her shoulders and neck, made her both excited and anxious about the upcoming event. She sighed, feeling a mix of anticipation and apprehension about travelling alone and running into old acquaintances.

The next morning, Kavya set out for the wedding. The journey was long, and as she drove, her mind wandered. She thought about the reunion with her friends, the excitement of the celebration. The underlying anxiety about seeing people from her past, including Arjun.

When she arrived at the grand wedding venue, she was struck by its opulence. Fairy lights twinkled above. The floral arrangements created a magical ambience. Guests mingled, their laughter and conversations creating a lively backdrop.

Kavya’s heart raced with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. She manoeuvred through the crowd, reconnecting with old friends and enjoying the festivities. Her mind was partially preoccupied with the idea of seeing Arjun, her ex-boyfriend, whom she hadn’t expected to meet at this event.

As she mingled, her eyes unexpectedly landed on a familiar face—Arjun. He stood in a group of guests, dressed impeccably in a black suit. Kavya’s breath caught in her throat. She hadn’t anticipated running into him, and the sight of him stirred a whirlwind of emotions within her.

Varun’s absence had left her feeling vulnerable, and now, seeing Arjun again brought back a flood of memories. Taking a deep breath, she decided to approach him, her heart pounding with each step.

“Arjun?” Her voice quivered as she spoke.

He turned, surprise evident in his eyes as he recognized her. “Kavya?” His tone was a mix of disbelief and warmth.

“Hi,” Kavya managed, her voice trying to maintain composure despite her racing heart. “It’s been a while.”

“Yeah, it has,” Arjun replied, a tentative smile forming on his lips. “Would you like to catch up?”

They exchanged pleasantries and decided to part ways for a while to freshen up. Kavya returned to her room, her mind swirling with the encounter. A few minutes later, she heard a knock on her door. When she opened it, she wasn’t surprised to see Arjun standing there.

“I knew you’d come,” Kavya said with a slight smile, her heart pounding with anticipation.

Arjun returned her smile and stepped inside. “I wasn’t sure if you’d want to talk, but I thought it was worth a try.”

Kavya closed the door behind him and led him to a comfortable seating area in her room. “Let’s talk,” she said, her voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of nervousness.

Arjun’s eyes roved over Kavya, his gaze appreciative and lingering. “You’ve become even more beautiful and sexy after marriage, Kavya,” he complimented, his voice filled with genuine admiration.

Kavya smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her. “Was I not beautiful or sexy before when we dated?” she asked playfully, a shy smile tugging at her lips.

“You were always beautiful,” Arjun replied earnestly, stepping closer. “But now, there’s a different kind of radiance about you.”

They settled into the seating, and the conversation quickly became intimate. They reminisce about their old dates, the movies they watched, and the cafes they frequented. They laughed as they recalled their late-night conversations and sexting and the thrill of their emotional and physical connection.

“I remember how you used to lie to your family just to meet me,” Arjun said with a nostalgic smile. “We’d sometimes check into a hotel just to be together. Those were some of the best times.”

Kavya blushed at the memory. “Yes, I remember,” she admitted with a shy smile. “I’d come up with all sorts of excuses to sneak out. It was exhilarating, and those hotel rooms…”

Arjun’s gaze lingered on her, his eyes darkening with a mix of desire and reminiscence. “Those rooms were our little escape,” he said softly. “I still think about how we’d make love, how perfect it felt.”

Kavya’s cheeks flushed as she remembered their intimate moments. “I miss those times,” she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. “It’s strange how some memories never really fade.”

Their conversation deepened, and the tension between them grew palpable. Arjun’s fingers brushed against Kavya’s arm, sending shivers through her. “Do you ever think about those times?” he asked, his voice low and intimate.

“All the time,” Kavya admitted, her breath hitching. “It’s like they’re etched into my mind.”

The air between them grew thicker with unspoken desire. Arjun’s hand traced lightly down Kavya’s arm, his touch lingering. “I still imagine you sometimes,” he said softly, his voice barely audible. “Even now.”

Kavya felt a wave of conflicting emotions. She was enjoying the conversation. But a sense of guilt gnawed at her, intensifying with each passing moment. Every laugh and shared memory felt like a betrayal to Varun. Was this a form of cheating on her husband?

Having such an intimate and close conversation with her ex? Guilt swirled in her chest, a heavy reminder of her marriage vows. Yet, she couldn’t deny that Arjun had always been special. He wasn’t just an ex-boyfriend. He was the man who had seen her at her most vulnerable.

He loved her not just for her body but for her soul. With Arjun, she didn’t just shed her clothes but also her fears and insecurities. Her composure wavered as her heart raced with a mix of desire and apprehension. The guilt was palpable, making her question her actions, yet the longing for Arjun was equally strong.

“I… I don’t know if this conversation is right,” she said. Her voice was trembling, torn between her loyalty to her husband and the undeniable connection she still felt with Arjun.

Arjun’s hand lingered on her arm, his touch tender yet insistent. “Do you want me to stop?” he asked, his eyes searching hers.

Kavya’s breath caught in her throat. She shook her head slightly, unable to deny the growing desire inside her. “Yes, I don’t want you to stop.”

Their proximity became almost unbearable as they continued talking. The tension between them built to a crescendo, their words and glances filled with longing. Unable to resist any longer, they leaned in, and their lips met in a kiss that was both tender and fervent.

The kiss deepened quickly, their passion igniting as they lost themselves in the moment. After a few moments, Kavya pulled back slightly, her eyes meeting Arjun’s with a mixture of guilt and longing. “Arjun, we’re both married,” she said softly, her voice trembling.

Arjun’s expression shifted from surprise to resolve. “I don’t care,” he said, his voice intense. “I imagine you when I’m with my wife. You’ve never really left my mind.”

Kavya’s eyes widened in shock. “I… I’ve imagined you too,” she admitted, her voice barely a whisper. “During intimate moments with Varun.”

The revelation hung in the air, their shared admissions fueling the intensity of their kiss. Their lips met again, the kiss more urgent and passionate, their bodies pressed close together. The moment was filled with a potent mix of desire and regret, each touch and caress deepening their connection.

As the kiss finally broke, Arjun’s hand began to wander down Kavya’s body. His fingers moved towards her chest, his touch lingering just above her breasts. Kavya stopped him with a gentle yet firm hand.

“Arjun,” she said, her voice a mix of playful and serious. “I think we should get ready for the function.”

Arjun looked at her with a mix of surprise and frustration. “What do you mean?”

Kavya gave him a cheeky smile, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Go to your room, Arjun,” she suggested. “I need to get ready for the function. Let’s forget if anything happened.”

Her playful tone and the lusty glint in her eyes made Arjun’s pulse race. He nodded, his gaze filled with both desire and curiosity. He left her room, the promise of what was to come hanging heavily in the air.

Later that night, at the ring ceremony function for her friend Shruti, Kavya dazzled in a stunning blue gown. The rich, deep colour accentuated her beauty, making her look both elegant and incredibly hot.

The gown, with its flowing fabric and subtle shimmer, highlighted her curves and added a touch of glamour to the evening. Arjun, dressed in a sharp blue tuxedo, couldn’t take his eyes off her. The colour of his tux complemented her gown perfectly.

They exchanged meaningful glances throughout the function. Despite the lively atmosphere and the myriad of guests, their eyes often met, creating a private connection amid the celebration. Arjun tried to get close to Kavya.

But she was careful to maintain a certain distance, deliberately defending herself from his advances. Arjun was unsure if she was genuinely ignoring him or simply teasing. The playful tension between them grew as the night wore on.

As the function neared its end, Arjun found a moment to speak with Kavya privately. With a bold, confident smile, he said, “You look so kissable right now.”

Kavya’s eyes sparkled with a mix of mischief and defiance. She raised an eyebrow and replied, “Touch to karke dikha, Thappad nahi khayega.” (I dare you to touch me. I’ll slap you!)

Arjun took her challenge seriously. As Kavya made her way to the restroom, which was located down a secluded alley, Arjun saw his chance. He followed her, moving quickly yet quietly. When Kavya entered the dimly lit alleyway, Arjun seized the moment.

He pulled her into his arms, pinning her against the wall. Without hesitation, he pressed his lips against hers in a heated, passionate kiss. Kavya, initially taken aback by his sudden move, tried to push him away. But as the kiss deepened, her resistance faltered.

Her lips responded to his with unexpected fervour. The kiss was a storm of emotions—desire, longing, and a hint of regret. When they finally pulled away, both breathless, Arjun’s eyes sparkled with amusement. “Challenge completed,” he teased, a grin playing on his lips.

Kavya’s expression shifted suddenly to fury. “Mai tera mooh tod dungi,” (I’ll break your face!) she snapped, her face flushed with anger. Arjun, taken aback by her reaction, tried to calm her down. “Why are you so furious?” he asked, his voice softening.

Kavya’s eyes brimmed with tears as her voice trembled with raw pain. “Where were these guts when you had to ask my father for me? Where was this courage when I needed you the most?”

Her voice cracked, choked with sorrow and longing. “Why didn’t you fight for us, Arjun? Why weren’t you there when I needed you to stand by me?” Her tears fell freely, each one a testament to the depth of her unspoken love and the ache of their lost future together.

Moved by her pain, Arjun pulled her into a comforting embrace, holding her as he used to when they were together. He didn’t have an answer, knowing that now was not the time for explanations. He held her, offering the solace he could, and then suggested they go back to function for dinner.

As they left, Arjun resolved to address her questions later when she was calmer, understanding that this wasn’t the right moment for answers. Later, after dinner, Arjun walked Kavya back to her room. The corridor was quiet, their footsteps echoing softly against the marble floor.

As they walked, Arjun began to speak, his tone sincere and reflective. “Kavya, I know I hurt you by walking away. But I truly believed it was the best for everyone involved. There were so many complications and so many expectations from both our families. I thought it would spare us more pain in the long run.”

Kavya listened, but her expression remained distant and unconvinced. Her heart was still aching from the memories and the unresolved feelings. Despite her reluctance, she let him explain, her silence speaking volumes about her lingering pain and mistrust.

When they reached her door, Arjun paused, looking at her with a mix of regret and longing. “Can we at least hug goodbye?” he asked softly.

Kavya’s eyes hardened. “No, Arjun,” she replied firmly, her voice cold. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

Ignoring her refusal, Arjun stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her. Kavya resisted at first, her body stiff and unyielding. But gradually, the warmth of his embrace and the familiarity of his touch melted her defences.

She found herself relaxing against him, her head resting on his shoulder as old feelings resurfaced. After a moment, Arjun pulled back slightly, his eyes searching hers. “Can I stay in your room tonight?” he asked playfully, a mischievous smile tugging at his lips.

Kavya chuckled softly, the tension between them easing. “No, Arjun,” she said, shaking her head with a smile. “Go to your room. We’ll meet tomorrow.”

Arjun grinned, accepting her response with good humour. “Alright, alright,” he conceded. “Tomorrow it is.” With one last lingering look, he turned and made his way to his room. Leaving Kavya standing in the doorway, her heart a tumultuous mix of emotions.

To be continued.
